[SPEAKER 1] They're the ones that are creating the applications and driving our platform forward. When you purchase Lifion as a product, you're getting applications that LDs have built. So everything from the onboarding experience for associates through to payrolls to benefits; all that's encompassed in what we built.
[SPEAKER 2] We interact with a lot of different people. And we're kind of like a bridge between the product owners, the product management, the platform team, the UX teams, the architects. And we're the ones building features on our platform and building applications.
[SPEAKER 3] It's a really cross-functional role that's part developer, part product owner, part UX designer, and part project manager. So you really get this nice blend of all kinds of different use cases and things that make it a fun role.

[SPEAKER 4] Everything you do is on top of this platform, which is constantly evolving. So it's really exciting to be learning something new every single week. But there is also the challenge of being able to quickly adapt to problems that arise suddenly.

[SPEAKER 5] Here at Lifion, my career has been accelerated. The LD role and so encompassing of many things that I got to be on track towards more modeling and making bigger decisions instead of the lower level work in a much shorter amount of time.
[SPEAKER 6] This position makes it possible for me to be creative about the things that I'm doing and thinking about creative ways to implement certain solutions, to come up with ideas. And I know that I will always be heard. I feel like I have unlimited possibilities to use my creativity in day to day work.

What is the Lifion platform?
Our platform allows developers to build business-facing applications without the overhead of using conventional development languages.
The design tools enabled by our platform allow for rapid application development, so developers can work quickly by leveraging drag-and-drop UIs to define data sources, data types, constraints, display rules, UI actions, and more. They can even deploy the application and define access and authorization permissions — all with a minimum amount of traditional ‘hand-coding’ techniques.
But how does this accelerate innovation?
Simple: businesses’ need for software is being outpaced by traditional developers’ ability to build it, and our developers can build applications in days, rather than weeks or months.
