Being in Roseland at ADP's main headquarters-- not everybody thinks of this as being a technology location. And it's not, necessarily, but there are a lot of technologists here. The majority of my team is here. There are a lot of things that we do from a technology perspective originate out of Roseland. The environment-- you know, we are close to New York City, which makes it attractive. There are a lot of technologists that live in this area that commute into the city and a lot of times this location is perfect for them.
[TEXT: Jyotsna, Lead Product Manager]
So working with my cross-functional team-- I am deeply, deeply, truly, truly amazingly blessed. They bring out the best in me and collectively is a very, very large team at the core of ADP. We have been able to successfully rule out the fraud prevention measures to our clients. It's teamwork is the dream work and we are living that dream work. So makes us-- I think many times that believing in magic is the beginning, creating magic is progress. But delivering magic with your fantastic friends is success. And truly successful with my friends-- that's awesome.
[TEXT: Adrian, Director, Product Manager]
Being a dad working at ADP has been great. When I worked in prior organizations, even in the city, for example, it's very stressful when you have to step out to handle something for your family or for your kids. And ADP, I feel like there's that culture of, you know, of ownership. You own your workload, you can handle it on your own. No one has to watch you. And being a dad at ADP is great because I feel I have the flexibility to handle my family business and still balance my work life.
[TEXT: Neha, Senior UX Manager]
I think working in the tri-state area is also-- you are in the midst of startup culture. And you get to experience that through a bigger company like ADP. So I think it is very interesting to meet new people in that location, but It's still ADP. It's a bigger corporation in a startup feeling culture, basically.

What I feel is my impact across ADP as a whole is that I feel the product is making a huge impact. We're building software that clients actually use. And we're listening to clients and responding to their needs directly. So I feel the impact is great, especially where I work in small business services, where it's really consumer-grade software that we're building. So users from the internet are coming, they're finding our software, they're using it, and we're responding directly to their needs.
[TEXT: Stephanie, UX Designer]
The one thing that excites me about my job is the fact that I feel like I am making a difference in the lives of our client practitioners, in the lives of our employees, the work that we do here, because we do pay people and it affects everyone around the world.
[TEXT: Neha, Senior UX Manager]
My role as a UX designer has a very big impact on ADP and we revamped the whole UI of our project. I started working on myADP when I joined. And we launched it-- in like two years if its launch, the whole look and feel was out there in the industry and we got a very good response. And I now know that even our leadership now likes to show you UI first-- before even the talk-- because visuals, you know, rule over text. So they have moved from PowerPoints to demos-- showing UI, showing functionalities. So I think design has changed how ADP works and ADP thinks about a product. And I think my role has a very big impact on that.

[NARRATOR] Technology has changed the way we communicate, the way we interact, and the way we use information to make decisions. It's changed our expectations of what's possible. At ADP, we identify technology changes that matter by leveraging deep insights from our dedicated Research Institute, as well as the decades of relationships we've developed with our hundreds of thousands of clients across the globe.
And through our investments in technology talent across our organizations, particularly at our four US-based innovation labs in Roseland, New York City, Pasadena, and Atlanta, as well as our innovation labs in Bristol, UK, Chennai, India, and Porto Alegre, Brazil, we develop the latest digital architecture that transforms the world of work. We're continuously enhancing our market leading platforms with innovations that provide strategic value to our clients.
By creating AI self-service tools, our platforms are taking manual tasks out of the equation for HR professionals, enabling associates to answer their own questions. Data cloud is putting HR and compensation data, aggregated and anonymized for nearly 30 million workers, into the hands of companies so they benchmark and create smart, informed HR standards.
And ADP Marketplace offers a truly open platform for clients to integrate ADP products with third-party providers, enabling the creation of truly unique and personalized solutions. With Wisely by ADP, we're giving workers the tools to manage their pay-- how they want, when they want. And our Next Gen platforms are designed specifically for how we know work is being done-- in teams.
Personalized, scalable, compliant, and global by nature. ADP has always been at the forefront of change. We pioneered the industry. And now we're reinventing what it means to be an HCM provider. We're leveraging technology, smart data, and talent to create an unrivaled suite of HCM solutions-- solutions that stand alone in the marketplace.

[TEXT: Jyotsna, Lead Product Manager] As women, the way I feel that-- I would be a very different person if only I had known about Grace Hopper many, many years ago. The value I think from attending Grace Hopper is the amount of exposure that you can get by attending a conference and the amount of people that you can network while there, but that you can learn. The learnings are not just from books, and not from degrees and certificates-- they all have their values-- it's not about that, but it's about you, your own career journey because you are unique. Your path is what you're going to leave your footprint on and it needs to be specific to you. So these exposures of what's out there and there are so many of us-- 25,000 people attending the Grace Hopper in Orlando, Florida, and women in tech-- 25,000-- that number is mind-boggling, and it gives us an opportunity to help make a difference by sharing what we do amazingly well at ADP. So many of us here-- we're all in this planet together-- and we can all learn and grow individually. So I see us all as individual stars of excellence. So, individual leaders of excellence and that's whom I hope to meet, and inspire, and learn as well. So-- pretty excited by that.

There's a lot of really next-gen projects that are using all the modern software pieces. And then from the Java side, there's the latest versions of Java, Microservices and a lot of interesting things going on in there. On the UI side, there's different projects using React and Angular. So everybody's keeping up with the latest to date.
[TEXT: Mia, Lead Application Developer]
We have a really cool stack. We use Spring Boot + Groovy which is a library that sits on top of Java. And then our UI uses React Redux with some ADP component libraries to make things a little easier, so you don't have to worry so much about styling and CSS.
[TEXT: Omar, Application Developer]
Well, I currently work on Angular, which is one of the top, most popular frameworks in front end development using JavaScript. If you are more into the backend as a developer, we are using Spring Boot, which is another fast growing, very popular-- it's been around for several years, one of those frameworks for the back end development using Java.
[TEXT: Manoj, Principal Data Scientist]
We use Big Data, Apache Spark, heavily, on AI and ML space. We work with Psychic Learn, PyTorch, Tensorflow, also Stage Maker.
[TEXT: Oscal Principal Application Developer]
My team specifically works with a lot of Angular, Docker, Amazon Web Services. The teams around us are using Spring Boot, Node Express. And if anyone ever has any ideas for new tools or anything, those are always open to be brought in and used.
[TEXT: Anjani, Design Engineer]
We work with a variety of tools and technologies. Like, we have Kafka, Hazelcast, and I mean there are like a number of tools in technology that we use. And we are also progressing towards AWS, which is a boom in the market right now. So, yes, I think we constantly tries to keep changing to the latest technologies in the market. And we all are increasing our key skills, as well.

[TEXT: Mark, VP, Global Head of Infrastructure] If you think about our organization and what it is, there's two parts of it. There's this owner mentality, which is something we talked about in the past. But I was actually in a recent off-site with a lot of executives, and the one thing that came out of that from our CEO, Carlos Rodriguez, was a founder's mentality, right. And being able to take and think like a founder-- and we actually went back and talked about Frank Lautenberg, who was employed by the company five years in but is also considered a founder.
And the difference between being an owner and a founder was something that we talked about quite a bit. And it's actually funny. I actually just talked to my team about something similar. I'd always talk to them about owning their business. Owning your business is one thing, but actually being a founder of your business is very different, and the way you think about owning and founding are very-- if you dig into the details, owning it might be that you own shares in a company. You want it to maybe profit.
Being a founder, you're going to approach it very different. You're going to think about the people and the culture and the process and what you're trying to accomplish and the way you're trying to accomplish it. So we're really talking about being a founder and thinking about being a founder from everything from how does this process run to technology decisions we're making to how we're introducing technology and supporting our customers. So we're thinking about approaching everything as being a founder.
