In this role, you will work as a key member of the development team to gather details on features we want to develop and use that information to build solutions for ADP's cloud-based Human Resource solutions. This role is critical to making sure we develop, deploy and support usable products. You'll work within an agile team to create solutions to complex user scenarios potentially integrating to additional systems. Your role requires you to advocate for necessary changes to improve the end-user experience of our payroll and HCM products through rich featured reporting and analytics solutions. To thrive in this role, you'll need to be curious, persistent, and at times persuasive. You'll use your knowledge, technical skills and persuasion with the product team to deliver necessary solutions for the end user's benefit. Along with your team, you will own the release and full life cycle of your product features and be responsible for building out the plans, dividing tasks among the team, identifying problems, and solving them. If you are looking for a role that is strictly 9-5, this may not be the job for you. Pace should not scare, and flexibility is a must since development and supporting production environments doesn't always occur during regular business hours. Here's what you can expect on a typical day:

  • You understand that an agile Dev environment requires flexibility. Working in two-week sprints, you must keep up with timelines and coding standards. Time constraints and fluidity of work often mean taking a creative approach to problem solving. Your first thought? Bring it on!
  • Dev & Test. Quality is key for client satisfaction, so close collaboration with Stakeholders to fully understand use cases and partnering with QA to ensure test plans and test cases are developed to always deliver quality.
  • We work collaboratively, so you will communicate and collaborate with UX designers and QA engineers and multiple stakeholders for your products. You'll help articulate clear and compelling reasons for the design and delivery of product changes for the end user's benefit.
  • You're always learning new technologies and coding patterns and eager to figure things out as you learn.
  • Inevitable challenges will arise, and we'll rely on you to look for a solution.
  • You have 5-7 years of experience in relevant skills gained and developed in the same or similar role.


  • You'll have a Bachelor's degree OR equivalent.
  • Besides the proven experience and technical products mentioned above and working in an Agile environment testing web apps, experience with some of these products may give you extra comfort in the role:
    • 4+ years of experience as Oracle PL/SQL developer specializing in developing, maintaining, and optimizing applications.
    • Hands on experience using Databricks in at least 1 project, creating Python notebooks, Exposure to using Delta Live Tables (DLT) , Spark SQL & Spark streaming for processing data for various use cases , good understanding of Delta lake and how it can be used in conjunction with Blob or ADLS.
    • Ingesting data to Redshift , designing table models to represent the information , designing sort and distribution keys , processing data using Redshift.
    • Experience with AWS Cloud on data integration with Apache Spark, Kafka , S3, MongoDB ecosystems.
