ADP is hiring a Senior Manager of Reliability and Product Development for Employee Financial Services.

We are looking for a passionate senior manager who wants to help us building out and maintaining ADP’s entry into the Fintech world. Do you want to take bold bets with technology that can redefine an industry? If so, this job is for you!

As the manager of the team, you will recruit and lead a group of talented engineers to build innovative solutions that will drive outstanding reliability and the best DevOps/DevSecOps practices and tools into our products, from the ground up. This role allows you to be part of the detection, prevention, and remediation to deliver security at scale in an agile team with a heavy emphasis on automation.

Your team will automate security infrastructure for ADP's cloud-based solutions. They will directly impact ensuring fewer vulnerabilities of these products to protect our clients' data, and their main goal is to write tooling to help developers deploy more secure code faster.

You will keep up with the ever-changing technological landscape and will utilize a melting pot of new technologies and innovative concepts. You will have the freedom and encouragement to explore your own ideas, and your responsibilities will include all aspects of software development.

You will be the role model for the team on using the best software development practices and cutting-edge technologies. You will have the opportunity to create significant impact on our systems, our business and our customers as we reshape the Fintech world.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • _Drive cultural change and transformation. Lead, inspire and engage a team as you continue to transform, develop, design, and deliver our next-generation platform to clients.
  • _Build teams that thrive. As an experienced leader, you want everyone to shine. You'll start each day by checking in with your engineering team to identify priorities and challenges. You'll find a way to make the team's day go smoother. You are constantly looking for ways to share your knowledge, motivate others and keep everyone engaged and productive.
  • _Build Products. You will use your technical expertise to review your team's work and help your people excel in an Agile environment. You're proactive and hands-on. When you see a potential issue, you never leave things hanging and unfinished. When you and your team deliver a finished product, it's as polished as you could make it.
  • _Variety of work. There is no typical day. You could be checking in with a team in India one minute, meeting with leadership to review initiatives for the coming quarter later and tomorrow handling a few ad hoc requests from your peers in other departments.
  • _Influence and inspire confidence. You are comfortable presenting to senior leaders, product owners, and peers with a compelling voice that you demonstrate through executive presence, leading change, and creating clear executive-level communications on milestone achievements.
  • _Experience. You have at least 3 years of experience in relevant skills gained and developed in the same or similar role.

TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE:

  • You'll have at a minimum a Bachelor's degree OR equivalent
  • 10+ years working with software development and reliability engineering, being the last 3 managing teams.
  • Prior experience in Infrastructure Security, DevSecOps, DevOps, Reliability and Large Scale Software Development will give you extra comfort in this role to be successful.
  • Mentor and lead engineers. Hire, promote, evaluate and terminate team members based on highly technical work such as SREs and Developers.
  • Good understanding of cloud computing and best practices in AWS.
  • Ensure execution of the strategical roadmap for the business unit by leading others to solve complex problems and achieving OKRs.
  • Some knowledge on with financial solutions and PCI.
