Description
As the VP of Product Development for ADP Mobile and MyADP, you will lead the strategic vision, development, and enhancement of our mobile and web platforms, ensuring they meet the evolving needs of both our clients and their employees. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver a seamless, intuitive, and secure experience across these critical HCM platforms.
In this role, you’ll be responsible for driving product innovation, managing the product lifecycle from ideation to launch, and ensuring operational excellence in both ADP Mobile and MyADP. Your leadership will play a pivotal role in delivering high-impact features that improve user experience and drive business outcomes.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Lead Strategy and Vision:
- Develop and execute the overall product strategy for ADP Mobile and MyADP, aligning with the company’s goals for its Human Capital Management (HCM) solutions.
- Stay ahead of industry trends and ensure ADP’s mobile and web platforms remain at the forefront of innovation, integrating new technologies and client feedback.
Oversee Product Development and Delivery:
- Lead the development and deployment of both platforms, managing the full lifecycle of product initiatives from concept to release.
- Ensure ADP Mobile and MyADP deliver a consistent, scalable, and user-friendly experience across both mobile and web platforms.
- Drive cross-functional collaboration with Product Management, Engineering, UX/UI, and IT teams to ensure products are developed on time and within budget.
Drive Innovation:
- Identify opportunities to leverage emerging technologies, such as AI, machine learning, and advanced analytics, to enhance both the mobile and web platforms.
- Continuously evaluate and optimize product features to improve client satisfaction, engagement, and efficiency.
Build and Lead a High-Performing Team:
- Recruit, develop, and inspire a team of product managers, designers, and engineers to deliver world-class mobile and web solutions.
- Foster a culture of creativity, innovation, and collaboration within the product development organization.
Ensure Operational Excellence:
- Implement best practices in product development, including agile methodologies, robust testing frameworks, and data-driven decision-making processes.
- Ensure both ADP Mobile and MyADP adhere to stringent security and compliance standards, providing a safe and reliable experience for users.
Collaborate with Stakeholders:
- Partner with Product Management and other business units to understand client needs and translate them into actionable product roadmaps.
- Communicate effectively with senior leadership, providing regular updates on product development progress, challenges, and opportunities.
Promote a Culture of Continuous Improvement:
- Encourage ongoing education and development within the team, ensuring that team members stay current on the latest mobile, web, and HCM technologies.
- Organize knowledge-sharing sessions, workshops, and training programs to build a forward-looking, innovation-driven product team.
TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE:
Required Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a senior leadership role within product development, with a focus on mobile and web platforms.
- Strong expertise in managing the full product lifecycle, with experience delivering large-scale, complex mobile and web applications.
- Deep understanding of Human Capital Management (HCM) solutions or SaaS platforms.
- Experience leading and mentoring cross-functional teams in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of mobile development frameworks (iOS and Android), web technologies, and cloud-based platforms.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with HCM or payroll-related platforms, such as ADP or similar products.
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies and best practices in product management.
- Knowledge of AI and machine learning technologies and how they can be applied to improve mobile and web experiences.
- Bachelor's Degree and/or equivalent of 10+ years of experience in product development, with at least 5+ years in a progressive senior technology leadership role, overseeing multidisciplinary teams.
- Proven history of leading a global team of engineers and successfully bringing products from concept to market, including experience with highly scalable and reliable software platforms.
- Experience in overseeing end-to-end production operations, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Experience collaborating with other departments like Product Management, Sales, Marketing, and Customer Support to ensure a well-rounded product strategy.
