ADP Technology Services, Inc. is hiring a Lead Infrastructure Engineer in our Alpharetta, GA location.

- Responsibilities. Responsible for collaborating with architects and cross-functional teams to implement the infrastructure design for web services. Translate architectural blueprints into actionable tasks, ensuring the successful deployment and configuration of servers, network components, and related technologies. Optimize the application service infrastructure based on the provided architectural guidelines. Conduct performance testing and fine-tune system components to achieve optimal speed and responsiveness. Work with architects to implement security measures and best practices across the infrastructure. Apply appropriate security configurations to protect web services from potential threats and vulnerabilities. Respond to and resolve infrastructure-related incidents. Utilize troubleshooting skills to diagnose issues and implement effective solutions, minimizing downtime and ensuring web service availability. Develop and utilize automation scripts and tools to streamline infrastructure management tasks. Collaborate with architects to incorporate automation into the deployment and maintenance processes.
TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE:
- Education and Qualifications/Skills and Competencies. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or related field of study plus five (5) years of related experience required. The company will also accept a Master's degree and two (2) years of related experience. Will accept a three-year degree or a combination of degrees or diplomas as meeting the Bachelor's degree requirement.
- Work Experience. Two (2) years of experience must include: Foundation in networking (OSI Model); Unix Scripting; Traffic shaping (load balancing); Web application security; Change Management; Implementation Management; Web Proxy administration; and TLS SSL Certificate Management.
