Job Title: Lead Application Developer
Location: Alpharetta, GA
ADP Technology Services, Inc. seeks a Lead Application Developer at our Alpharetta, GA location. Responsibilities: Develop software solutions for ADP’s external and internal clients. Participate in all aspects of the agile software development life cycle. Collaborate with other members of the scrum team to design, develop, and test solutions consistent with business objectives. Work as a member of a Scrum team developing software automation code. Leverage shift-left testing techniques and collaborate with product owners and software developers to ensure team understanding of user stories and testable points. Utilize Behavior-Driven Development (BDD), Test-Driven Development (TDD), and Acceptance Test Driven Development (ATDD) techniques to automate in-sprint testing, leveraging software code-based tools. Report, triage, and track software defects to closure. Utilize object-oriented programming languages for in-sprint and integration-level testing. Perform code reviews and approvals for complex code written by team members and provide quality compliance reviews.
Education & Experience Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems or a related field plus five (5) years of related experience. Employer will accept a master’s degree plus three (3) years of related experience in lieu of a bachelor’s degree plus five (5) years of related experience.
Two (2) Years of Experience must include: Java/J2EE; Server-side application frameworks, including Spring and Spring Boot; Messaging frameworks, including RabbitMQ or JMS; Caching frameworks, including Redis or Memcached; Integration frameworks, including Apigee or Mulesoft; Data structures and algorithms; Multithreading and Concurrency; SOA; OOAD; OOP; JEE design; ORMs, including Hibernate; Restful and SOAP-based web services, including JSON and XML; Unit testing frameworks, including JUnit and Jest; and SQL Data Store, including Oracle, MySQL, or Postgres.
