ADP is hiring a Lead Product Manager for NextGen Payroll Integrations

In this role, you will work alongside a team of friendly, passionate, and creative product managers and developers to bring our products to market. You will join ADP’s innovation lab as we undertake one of ADP’s most ambitious transformation initiatives ever. We’re building a team from of the most elite, game-changing technologists and asking them to reinvent payroll for tens of millions of employees worldwide.
We’re looking for an experienced, motivated Product Manager to lead process and product development efforts related to the integration between the payroll calculation engine and other solutions in the ADP product portfolio. This role’s duties will include backlog management and refinement, Product Owner role in one or more scrum teams, and Feature lead role in cross-functional integration efforts as well as customer/user advocacy for clients and ADP associates in our Implementation and Support functions. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience and expertise in hands-on Product Management in a Scrum / Agile environment. An understanding of API design and consumption is key. HCM and Payroll Processing experience is a big plus.
To thrive in this role, you will manage a prioritized backlog of features/epics, defining acceptance criteria and other specifications; partner with product leadership to categorize, plan and roadmap features in a portfolio management system; collaborate with other product and development stakeholders in the Next Gen Payroll team for robust, end-to-end features that differentiate ADP; maintain close working relationships with ADP associates that support key payroll processes (e.g. Tax Filing, Money Movement, Print and Distribution, etc.); and partner with other product management and development stakeholders for innovative payroll integrations across all aspects of Human Capital Management (HCM).

WHAT YOU’LL DO:
Here’s what you can expect on a typical day:
- You’ll start each day working with teams to understand responsibilities, identify any issues, and communicate priorities. You’ll continue to have meetings throughout the day as you create and organize your roadmap.
- Research & Requirements. You’ll own the de You’ll document and prioritize product features. You’re always learning and researching new industry trends to make our products better. You’ll incorporate what makes sense into your product roadmap based on our clients, the market, ADP’s goals, and what impact the future of tech will have on your products.
- You’ll create strong alliances with diverse stakeholders and ensure everyone is in this together and communicates most appropriately. You’ll collaborate across multiple teams with developers, other product managers, and UX teams, to name some, to continually drive innovation and make the product the best it can be.
- You have experience measuring product effectiveness, reporting outcomes, and driving priorities.
- Variety of work. There is no typical day. You could be working with UX teams on client experience journeys to delivering new features, product enhancements, or creating new services. Best part? You’ll get to see those ideas come to life.
- You’ll speak to internal and external stakeholders to communicate and defend ideas while answering critical questions.
A university degree is great but not required. What’s more important is having the skills and experience to do the job.
