As the Head of Accessibility for ADP, you will lead the mission to ensure that our all of our product teams are delivering fully accessible experiences to our tens of millions of users. You will have the opportunity to define our point of view, form our strategy, and work with designers, developers, and leaders at every level to bake accessibility into everything we do.

You will play a strategic role forming a team of accessibility experts to define our vision, strategy, and approach that will enable you to scale to drive the delivery of accessible software across the company. As an expert who has driven accessibility programs, you know how to identify accessibility issues, close the gaps, and drive progress.

What You’ll Do:
Here’s what you can expect on a typical day:

• Strategy. You bring a powerful vision and strong point of view on accessibility. You will craft, own, and drive the strategy, building on the work of many motivated individuals, to ensure ADP delivers fully accessible software.
• Lead. You are an expert in accessibility and will grow and lead a team of accessibility experts to help ADP operationalize the delivery of accessible software. You are comfortable leading/directing impact through multi-disciplinary teams that do not report directly to you.
• Nurture. You are an approachable, trusted leader, adept at hiring, coaching, and growing amazing accessibility talent. You enjoy sharing your experience and insights and feel comfortable diving in and proactively helping your team. You effectively delegate to your team and support each person in their unique career journey.
• Plan. You understand the needs of the business and work with the cross-functional team to prioritize, plan, and assign work accordingly. You understand your team’s abilities and assign work to the those with the right skills or growth opportunities to ensure the team consistently delivers value.
• Drive. You thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative, team-oriented, cross-functional environment and seek out the satisfaction of delivering real outcomes that help our users crush their jobs.
• Evangelize. You will craft then evangelize our accessibility philosophy, practices, and methodologies to educate and enable our teams to make accessibility part of their daily practice. You are a natural story teller and know how to help everyone understand the ‘why’ before showing how we get there. You have a passion for coaching, mentoring, and igniting enthusiasm for educating others on delivering accessible experiences.
• Partner. You partner and collaborate effectively with Design, Engineering, and Product Management as well as leaders at all levels. You have a keen ability to understand where teams are today and help them take the next steps.
  Facilitate Discussion. Your communication skills are vital to your success as an accessibility leader, whether in discussions with designers, engineers, product managers, or peers. Being vocal in your craft and effective at explaining why you hold your point of view is critical to this role.
• Expert. You bring deep knowledge and experience with relevant international standards and regulations (e.g., WCAG 2.1, Section 508). You are familiar with assistive technologies and bring the credibility of being able to conduct an accessibility audit to shape a scalable accessibility practice enabling hundreds of designers and thousands of developers.
• Experience. You bring 4+ years of driving accessibility requirements and implementations and 3+ years of leading teams in a software development environment. Experience in enterprise software is a plus.

TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE:

• You’ll have a Bachelor’s degree OR equivalent experience.

The targeted base salary range for this role is listed in the compensation section below. Actual salary may be above or below this range based on factors such as location, skills, and relevant experience. In addition, this position may include additional compensation in the form of bonus, equity, or commissions.

Compensation Range for US Nevada residents: $112,000 – $170,240 / Year.
